I am thrilled to share that this past weekend I graduated with my Doctorate degree in School Leadership, K-12!
My cohort and I began our program two and half years ago, before COVID-19, and overcame all variables to get to this point. We had classes in person, hybrid, and virtual, all while conquering school leadership at our schools during this pandemic–and doing our very best to support our students, staff, and our communities. Below is the picture of my cohort- You will never meet a more amazing group than these educators and leaders. I was honored to learn and lead beside them during this grand adventure and to become life-long friends.
It feels so surreal to accomplish this life goal of mine. I feel a tremendous amount of gratitude towards my loved ones, families, friends, and mentors who supported me along the way. Thank you for loving me and for believing in me.
As one of our doctorate professors, Dr. Stokes, shared during our graduation- “The ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” – Steve Jobs
May we all continue to be crazy enough to believe that visionary change is possible, even during the most uncertain times.
